In short

You can use the catalogue without giving any data. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics or advertising services and loads no fonts or scripts from other servers, so no cookie notice is needed. This also applies when the catalogue is embedded in a page of forumkronstadt.ro; that page itself is covered by the privacy policy of forumkronstadt.ro.

Server logs

With every request the web server records the IP address, date and time, the address requested (including the search terms), the status code, the amount of data sent, the previous page and the browser's identification. We need this to run the website securely and to find errors (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Web server logs are deleted after 14 days; the application's logs are limited to a few megabytes and are overwritten continuously.

Reserving by email

“Reserve” opens your own email program with a prepared message to the library; the catalogue itself sends no data. If you write to us, we use your details only to answer your request (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).

Service providers

Operation and maintenance: CUBUS ARTS S.R.L., Sibiu. Servers and backups: Hetzner Online GmbH, data centres in the European Union. Both process the data on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR). No data is transferred to countries outside the EU.

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and data portability (Art. 15–21 GDPR). Please contact the address above.
